tbc March/April Wessex Coffee - Wiltshire

Bristol owners meet for coffee and chat. Date and location tbc. Please note: Any member in the Wessex Region is very welcome to assist or to organise an event. 26th April 2025 - Pre-AGM Dinner - Bristol

A pre-AGM dinner near Aerospace Bristol is planned for this Saturday evening. Full details of this and arranged accommodation will follow in due course

27th April 2025 to Friday 2nd May Bristol Cars Saunter to Suffolk - The Crown, The St, Westleton, Saxmundham IP17 3AD

We will be based at The Crown in Westleton on the Suffolk Heritage Coast close to Minsmere. This area has historic coastal towns such as Southwold and Aldeburgh, as well as lots of interesting villages such as Walberswick, Dunwich, Thorpeness, Orford Ness, etc. The itinerary will include a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads but otherwise will be flexible as there are so many options e.g Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings, Garrett Steam Museum, Suffolk and Norfolk Air Museum. We have reserved ten rooms on a B&B basis, and dinners will be arranged on the first and last nights. The costs for five nights B&B are: Good King Room £711.90 (six available) Better King Room £ 816.30 (four available) All participants are responsible for their own costs. Final booking date is 31st Jan 2025, or when all available rooms are booked. Please note this is a private tour and both BODA and BOC members are welcome, but neither club is involved in the organisation. BRISTOL OWNERS’ CLUB LIMITED 2nd ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 27th April 2025 The 2nd Annual General Meeting of Bristol Owners’ Club Limited will be held at Aerospace Bristol, Hayes Way, Patchway, Bristol, BS34 5BZ on Sunday 27th April 2025 at 11am. General Nature of Business 1. To receive and consider the Report of the Directors and the financial statements of the Bristol Owners’ Club Limited for the year ended 31 December 2024. 2. To elect Board members: • Paul Sheppard retires from the Board at the Annual General Meeting under Rule 6.2, and being eligible, offers himself for re-election. • Geoffrey Herdman retires from the Board at the Annual General Meeting under Rule 6.2, and being eligible, offers himself for re-election. 3. To deal with any other ordinary business of the Bristol Owners’ Club Limited. A copy of the agenda and the BOC accounts for 2024 will be circulated to members prior to the meeting. 27th April 2025 FBHVC's Drive It Day - National

As well as being the AGM, this Sunday is also the FBHVCʼs annual Drive It day, later than usual this year to avoid a clash with Easter. If you canʼt make it to the AGM do get involved elsewhere, and support this worthwhile event

25th May 2025 Sandringham Pageant of Motoring - Sandringham PE35 6EN

We will have space reserved for Bristol's at this show in Norfolk. Holt Street Market will be coming along, as well as the rest of the Sandringham Estate to occupy you. Probably heavy traffic too! 17-18th June 2025 Tunbridge Wells Trip

On behalf of the South-East Section, Helen Firth is organising a short mid-week Tuesday to Wednesday trip to Tunbridge Wells next June. All BOC members are invited. We will stay at the Hotel du Vin with reserved parking places. Plans are for a guided walk around the historic spa town followed by dinner in a private room at the Mount Edgcumbe pub. The next day will feature a country walk/drive followed by lunch at the Vineyard pub, Lamberhurst. Final costs TBC, although to cover booking fees we will need a deposit. If you're interested, please contact Helen Firth by email on firth.fam@hotmail.co.uk.It would be really helpful to know soon how many will be attending, as the hotel and restaurants get booked up well in advance with large tours.

5th July 2025 (Saturday) Airbus Open Day - Airbus works, Aerospace Avenue, Bristol BS34 7PA

Ten Bristol cars are required for a static display at the Airbus works in Filton, covering 400 to Blenheim. If interested please contact Peter Campbell on peter.campbell888@outlook.com .

6th July 2025 - Classic Car Show - RHS Hyde Hall, Creephedge Ln, Chelmsford CM3 8ET

We have been invited to bring our cars to the above event. Free entry to exhibitors (but not to the gardens, albeit they will be open as usual). Please note there is a requirement that cars will have to be in place from 10am to 4.30 pm, and I am sorry to say no dogs are allowed. Plenty to do of course and it will be a great day out. We will need to let the organisers know numbers around the middle of May, so please register your interest with Chris Dady (the BOC East representative) at east@boc.net

16-17th August 2025 Scandinavian Weekend - Copenhagen

Danish member Paul Brüniche-Olsen has arranged a weekend of Bristol activities in Copenhagen. This Hygge gathering will include visits to two new world-class car collections in the Danish capital. The weekend is of course open to all members and it is hoped there may be some members from nearby Germany and the Netherlands who will join. There are seven members in Sweden, five in Norway and just Paul in Denmark and many of these are signed up already. Perhaps some British or other members will be on holiday in Scandinavia in August and come along, or might even make a special trip. Costs tbc, but approx 1,500DKK/200 EUR. 18th to 21st September - Belgium Weekend - Poperinge

A long weekend in Poperinge, Belgium. Accommodation will be available at Hotel Recour in the centre of Poperinge. The timetable will be flexible, with one organised dinner on Saturday at Pegasus restaurant (attached to hotel). There will be suggestions for other events, including visits to Hop Museum and Ypres War Museum and battlefields, as well as recommended restaurants.
