BOCA Rally – Based around Adelaide Australia
The Bristol Ownersʼ Club of Australia 2024 National Rally is being hosted by the BOCA SA Chapter with the theme of ‘Rolling Down The River’. If you are interested in joining with or without a Bristol please contact BOCA secretary Sue Cutler or see BOCA events contact page for more details.
Coffee and/or brunch meet 1030 – 1230hrs. Venue is the modern supercar storage site, Five Zeros Supercars (check their website). Location just outside Bradford on Avon, postcode BA15 1TS. Meet up for a chat and a visit to see the cars (ours and theirs). Entry is free and coffee and/or brunch from the in-house restaurant. Any driver/passenger in a Bristol-engined car from any club will be welcome. No need to book – just turn up on the day. Plenty of parking available.
Lunch at the Angel, Larling
A return visit to this popular pub outside Thetford, Norfolk. Please contact Chris Dady for further details.
Goodwood members meeting
A great alternative to the Goodwood Revival meeting if you want something a little less crowded. Always Bristols to be seen on the Lavant bank parking.
Heritage Trust Lecture
The Bristol Ownersʼ Heritage Trust will be holding their next lecture day at the Atwell, Wilson Motor Museum, Calne, Wiltshire. Full details are still TBC and will soon, but if you want to know more before then please contact Stefan Cembrowicz.
BOC AGM & Drive It Day
The club AGM will be held at Whittlebury Park, Whittlebury, Near Towcester Northamptonshire, NN12 8Q at 11am on Sunday the 21st April. A copy of the agenda and the accounts for 2023 will be circulated to members prior to the meeting. Apologies for non attendance and items for the Agenda should be sent to Geoff Hawkins.
Accommodation and dinner details for the night before the AGM will be circulated in due course. As well as the AGM, Sunday is also the FBHVCʼs Drive It Day and nearby (Silverstone) the VSCC are hosting a weekend of racing.
Bristol Breakfast, Kent
Bristols will be the featured marque in April at this regular breakfast meeting of classics at the The Moat, Wrotham, Kent, TN15 7RT. The meet is from from 9am to 11.30am, but if Bristols can be there a little early they will be given the prime parking spots. The pub will be open for coffee, soft drinks and bacon sandwiches which helps to sustain the events as well as the attendees. Club member Iain Johncock is herding the Bristols on this event. If there is sufficient interest he will arrange a drive out afterwards down to Beachy Head and a pub lunch. If you can make it to either let him know by emailing Iain direct.
Compton Abbas Brunch
Meet for coffee and/or brunch at Compton Abbas airfield in Dorset to watch a Spitfire flying 1030 – 1230hrs. Open to any driver/passenger from any club in a Bristol-engined car. Free entry and plenty of parking.
Dedham Vale Vineyard
Bristols & Facels at Shuttleworth Collection
This will be a joint meeting with the Facel Vega Car Club at the Shuttleworth Collection in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Aircraft, cars, gardens – something for everyone! We are checking accommodation so please let Chris Dady know if you might want to stay locally on the Saturday night beforehand.

Tour of Spain
This yearʼs BOC tour will be to Spain and Portugal. If you are interested in joining the trip please contact Geoffrey Herdman for more details.
10am to 4pm at Pangbourne College, If you wish to display your car at this popular non-boc event please complete the following form and submit to the organisers.

Planning is well under way for this year, and it is expected that the date and venue will be a announced very soon.
SE Region Summer Film night & BBQ
The Silverstone event continues to re-invent and expand non track attractions. Full GP track action with race cars of all eras competing over the three days and plenty to occupy those who don’t want to watch trackside..
The 2024 schedule of prices below fyi. The cost includes entrance for two people along with vehicle pass to bring and park your Bristol on the club stand so no long walks from public car parks. Packages can be purchased online here , The club codes for on line booking for car club packages for the BOC are 039CCDP24 (tax exempt – pre-1984) and 040CCDP24 (non-tax exempt – 1984+)

Shere Hill Climb
This is an extremely popular event with an opportunity to try the hill climb (non-competitively). Lots going on, with a grass autotest and live music during the day. Entries do not open until March but Peter Campbell has asked the organisers to reserve parking for Bristol cars. This is outside the Wessex Area but hope the SE region might allow this out-of-area raid! There will be a cost and it will be necessary for individuals to book through the organiser’s website to ensure an entry. Full event details are online here ; details specific for Bristols to follow.
Castle Combe Autumn Classic
Very popular race meeting with a huge classic car presence both on and off the track and the meeting has been extended to two days. BOHT will once again be organising parking for any Bristol-engined car to watch the racing. If anyone would like to assist Peter Campbell with organisation, that would be most helpful please contact him direct.
SE Region Lunch at the Chelsea Arts Club
A two night break at an hotel in the West Country enjoying our cars and the company. Venue to be decided. Please note that the event is Wednesday through Friday.
NEC Classic Car Show
We will be back in Birmingham for biggest show in the UK calendar. As ever, if you are able to help organise the stand please contact Mike Thatcher or Turplin Dixon.
End of year get together on Friday night at the RAC Club Pall Mall
